I do not understand how to use the butler itch backend deal so apologies to everyone who has to download an entirely new game (vs downloading a small patch). If anyone can explain how to set that up, I would be forever grateful

Ok. So this is a small patch - there are lots of bugs to conquer yet. 

But there is now a graphic settings menu in the main menu. Yay!

its pretty self explanatory but ya change what ya want and then hit accept. Those changes are reflected in the game. 
If you dont hit accept, those changes are *not* saved. 

Because it's a new game and not a "patch" in the traditional sense, you'll almost certainly lose any game saves you may have  - sorry to anyone who loses progress. thankfully, its a pretty short endeavor, regardless. 

The main menu is also no longer controlled using WASD and instead uses the traditional mouse selection. Seemed simpler because you dont really use WASD to select stuff anywhere else. People seemed to be confused by that, understandably.
