I REALLY wanted to like this game. I really really did. This game started out so strongly and ended so flatly. I was so pumped by the beginning and the buildup of this game but the final sequence was SUCH an exercise in frustration, and some serious bugs required multiple restarts as if you don't get the ending sequence right the first time it gets jammed in a way that you cannot escape without quitting and reloading.

I totally agree that the latter half loses steam and for the full release, I’ve actually reworked most of it entirely already (not in the current build here tho!) Re: bugs - would you be down to explain them more in depth either here or ya can email me toxton at gmail.com? I’m going ham on fixing all that I can but as a pretty inexperienced dev, it’s a struggle to find them. Either way, glad you gave it a chance and took the time to give feedback!
This had everything we love: synthwave, retro games, horror and Lil Beef loves racing. The objectives were easy to understand and the story was very complete for a demo. The pacing was excellent and the mood was perfect with the 80s feel combined with a slow build to horror. Fantastic work! The slugs cartoon was awesome.
I didn't know what to expect going in but this was one of the most violently uncomfortable experiences I've had in a while, great job! (PS. I'm a Henry stan, i love that guy and his apples)
hell ya! thanks for posting - excited to watch tonight :) haha definitely buggy! But the full release should see a significant reduction of bugs/technical issues! Id love to say a complete reduction but i aint a miracle worker.
really cool game so far, sadly i couldn't finish it as i was un able to interact with anything after henry buzzed in. the door wouldnt open so i was suck in my room!
Was really enjoying the game but had a bug where I could not interact after the second character was at the door- tried buzzing in, tried leaving the apartment. Eventually after trying to leave the apartment a few times, I could not interact with anything at all. Would love to see a patch so I can finish this game!
Very interesting game for sure. I wish we saw more effects of the infection that is going around in the world you created. But for what it is, it's really good.
Races were raced, and switches were flipped. All in all a good time was had. The only bug was when you go to let your friend in the building. I looked out the window twice and the game bugged.
